Steps:
- For the cake: mix all of the ingredients except 1/4 C of the pecans in a bowl. Blend well. Grease and flour a bundt pan and then sprinkle the bottom of the pan with the remaining 1/4 C pecans. Pour batter into the pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. For the Glaze, Bring the butter, sugar, and water to boil in a pot and boil for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the wine. Remove cake from the oven and poke holes in the bottom of the cake. Spoon 1/2 the glaze over the bottom of the cake and let cool for 10 minutes. Turn the cake out onto the plate and spoon the rest of the glaze over the top.
