Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350. Butter or "pam" 9 x 13 inch pan. Toss potatoes with onion and salt and pepper. Add soup, sour cream, and cheese, reserving ½ of the cheese for the top. Bake for 45 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and bake for 15 minutes longer.
