Westphalian Tortellini image

1 lb tortellini
4 ounces sweet butter
1/4 lb Westphalian ham, cut into thin strips
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup fresh chives, thinly sliced
1 package frozen peas, thawed
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Prepare tortellini according to directions on package.
  • In a sauce pan, melt butter.
  • Add ham and saute for one minute.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients, and bring to a boil.
  • Add cooked tortellini and mix well.
  • Serve immediately.
