This is a wonderful orange bread and the orange peels are as soft as the bread. There was a restaurant on the island of Waikiki that was known for this bread. It can be frozen for up to 2 months. You can switch it up and use lemon peels or a combination of both. Enjoy this bread!

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350F. Butter two loaf pans. ( Or spray with Pam spray) Place chopped orange peel in a saucepan. Cover with water. (just enough to cover) Boil until peel is tender. Remove from heat, add the sugar, stir slightly and return to a boil till mixture reaches medium syrup stage. Reserve and cool.
- 2. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Cream butter, sugar, and eggs. Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk, to the creamed mixture. With an electric mixer continue beating for 3 minutes.
- 3. Fold in cooled orange peel with syrup. Pour into prepared pans. Bake 40 to 50 minutes,or until done in center of bread.
