VANISHING OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES Recipe image

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 cup butter Crisco
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
dash of salt
3 cups quick or old fashioned oats
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat shortening and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Combine flour, soda, cinnamon, and salt; mix well. Add oats, raisins, and pecans. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
