Rich and creamy, this potato casserole is full of everything good. The cream cheese and sour cream add a nice flavor to the casserole and make the potatoes creamy. Steps:
- 1. Boil potatoes in salted water. Cook until tender.
- 2. Drain potatoes and place into mixing bowl. Add cream cheese, sour cream, butter, cream, salt, and pepper. Continue mixing until smooth.
- 3. Fold in 1 cup of the cheese and half the bacon.
- 4. Pour into a 3 qt baking dish.
- 5. Bake for 15 minutes at 350.
- 6. Top with remaining cheese and bacon. Bake for an additional 15 minutes to melt the cheese.
- 7. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
