Number Of Ingredients 8

2 c cooked turkey, cubed (can get deli turkey sliced thick and cube)
1 box long grain wild rice, cooked
1 c seedless grapes, halved
1/2 c sweet red pepper, diced
1/2 c celery, chopped
1/2 c dried cherries or craisins
1/2 c pecans, chopped
4 green onions, sliced

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients. Leave plain or drizzle with Raspberry-Poppyseed Dressing (I use Beverly's available at most grocery stores. I buy mine at Shop-n-Save.)
  • 2. Refrigerate any leftover salad. You may heat briefly in microwave before serving again.

I'm not a big fan of wild rice, but I really liked this salad. The dressing was very flavorful and the cranberries added a nice touch of sweetness.

This salad was okay, but I've had better. I think the dressing was a bit too sweet for my taste.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my salad didn't turn out as good as I hoped. I think I overcooked the rice.
