Tomato Gravy image

Gravy is pretty good any way you fix it. As long as you fix alot.

Number Of Ingredients 7

4 Tbsp bacon grease
1/4to1/2 c onion chopped
2 Tbsp heaping tablespoons of flour
2/3 pt tomato juice
1/8 tsp baking soda
2/3 pt milk
- salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Saute onion in grease until soft, add flour, brown lightly, add tomato juice, Let boil up. Add baking soda, stirring well, add milk and come to a boil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 2. Delicious on bread or biscuts.
