Tomato and Orzo Soup with Gorgonzola image

With a snowstorm going on outside, I was craving a warm comfort soup. Inspired by the tomato soup of a well-known local chef and four boxes of orzo in the pantry, I came up with this yummy soup. Serve topped with buttered croutons.

I'm not a fan of this soup. I thought it was too salty and the gorgonzola was overpowering.

This soup is a lot of work for what you get. I don't think it's worth the effort.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my soup turned out really oily. I think I might have added too much olive oil.

This soup is way too cheesy for my taste. I would use less gorgonzola next time.

I followed the recipe exactly and the soup turned out watery. I think I would cook the orzo separately next time.

This soup is a little bland for my taste. I would add more salt and pepper to taste.
