Toll House Pie image

A yummy delicious rich pie that tasts like a toll house cookie. I received this recipe about twenty years ago. It was served in a local resturant and the recipe was given to me through a friend. This has often been requested for Birthdays instead of cake.

I've tried this recipe with different types of chocolate chips and they all work well. My favorite is to use a combination of semisweet and dark chocolate chips.

The only thing I would change about this recipe is to add a little bit of salt to the crust. I think it would help to balance out the sweetness of the pie.
