A family favorite for potlucks and summer gatherings. Great for picnic's, BBQ's and travels well. This recipe has been in my family for 50 years and we are still making it! Choose your favorite variation of beans that suits your family, it is a hit every time.

Number Of Ingredients 8
Steps:
- 1. Rinse and drain beans; Combine, vinegar, sugar, oil, salt and pepper, stir until sugar dissolves. Finely dice onion and combine with beans. Pour sugar mixture over beans, toss and chill for at least 4 hours. Toss before serving. Enjoy.
