The Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookie image

This came from a magazine many years ago, and the folks at Crisco must have sponsored it because there is a pict of the crisco tub on the recipie. At the bottom of the recipie it says from the Silver Palate Cookbook. These also are a softer cookie.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my cookies turned out dry and crumbly. I think I might have overbaked them.

I'm not usually a fan of oatmeal raisin cookies, but these were really good! The cookies were chewy and the raisins were plump and juicy. I also liked the addition of spices, which gave the cookies a nice warm flavor.

These oatmeal raisin cookies are the best I've ever had! They're chewy, soft, and full of flavor. I love the combination of oats, raisins, and spices. I will definitely be making these again and again.
