The Best BBQ Ribs in Arizona! image

The juiciest, tastiest ribs you will ever have. I haven't made these in a few years, but I am posting this so I don't lose it. I plan on making this for my boyfriend when football season starts. P.S. Great with garlic bread :)

Time 4h30m

Yield 6 pounds, 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 10

6 lbs baby back ribs
1/4 cup paprika
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chili powder
5 -6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons ground cumin
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 (16 ounce) bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce

Steps:

  • Pull off and remove the thin papery skin from the back of the ribs. Combine the paprika, salt, sugar, chili powder, garlic, cumin, mustard, and cayenne in a small bowl. Mix well. Rub the mix all over the ribs. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. Place the ribs meat side up in one layer on several sheet pans & bake, turning from time to time, until very tender, approx 3 1/2 to 4 hours. About 30 minutes before the ribs are done, remove them from the oven and brush liberally with the BBQ sauce. Bake the additional 30 minutes and serve with more sauce. Enjoy!

I'm not a big fan of ribs, but I really enjoyed these. The meat was tender and juicy, and the sauce was just the right amount of sweet and tangy.

These ribs were a disappointment. The meat was dry and tough, and the sauce was bland.

These ribs were delicious! The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and the sauce was flavorful and tangy.

The ribs were a bit tough, but the flavor was good. I think I'll try cooking them for a longer period of time next time.

The ribs were a bit dry for my taste, but the sauce was amazing. I'll try again with a different cooking method.

These ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and had a delicious smoky flavor. The sauce was perfect - not too sweet and not too tangy. I will definitely be making these again!
