Tea Room Scones image

I got this recipe from a local tea room. They can be made as recipe states or with white chocolate and cranberries. You can also add a number of things to the dry ingredients to make your own version such as chocolate chips etc.

I'm not a huge fan of scones, but these were actually really good! I especially liked the orange zest in the recipe.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my scones turned out flat and dense. They were still edible, but they weren't very good.

I was really disappointed with these scones. They were dry and crumbly, and they didn't have much flavor.

Not bad! The scones were a bit dry for my taste, but the flavor was good. I think I'll try adding a little more butter next time.
