Steps:
- If you remember, mix the ingredients in the pan the night before. Otherwise, add the water to the salted meal, and bring to the boil stirring the while. As soon as it thickens turn the heat to very low, and put on the lid. Cook another ten minutes or so, stirring now and again. Serve in bowls with syrup, home made jam, red chile and a fried egg, or sprinkled with brown sugar.
