Steps:
- 1. Directions: Brown ground beef or turkey. Drain.
- 2. Add cream of mushroom soup, undiluted. Add garlic pepper.
- 3. Spread out in a large baking dish. I use a round 12x8 corningware dish. Top with cheese. Starting at the edge, lay tater tots side by side to make a ring. When you complete the first ring, start a second one inside the first. continue this pattern until you completely top the casserole.
- 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until brown and heated through. I then switch the oven to broil and it gives the tater tots an extra crisp.
