1 stick butter room temperature
2 tsp vanilla flavoring

Bake in a 400ยบ oven until golden brown. Cool.
  • 2. FILLING: Mix all ingredients and cook until thickened custard. Cool and then pour into pie shell.

This was a fun and easy recipe to make with my kids. They loved helping me assemble the tart and decorate it with whipped cream and berries. The end result was a delicious and beautiful dessert that we all enjoyed.

I've made this recipe several times now and it's always a crowd-pleaser. The filling is rich and creamy, and the crust is flaky and buttery. I highly recommend this recipe!

Not bad! The crust was a bit dry, but the filling was creamy and flavorful. I'll try experimenting with different crust recipes to see if I can find one that I like better.

This recipe was a disaster! The crust was tough and the filling was bland. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong. Maybe I'll try a different recipe next time.

The filling was a bit too runny for my taste, but the flavor was still good. I'll try again and see if I can get the consistency right next time.

This recipe was a delicious success! The crispy crust and creamy filling were a perfect combination. I added a few extra spices to the filling for a bit of a kick, and it turned out perfectly. Highly recommend!
