Taco Puffs image

I got the original recipe from Quick cooking magazine years ago, I changed a couple things to meet our familys likes. I serve them for dinner with soup or salad and send the left overs for lunch the next day.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 lb louis rich ground turkey
1/2 c chopped onion
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
2 pkg large butter flavored refrigerated biscuits
2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. In a skillet, cook meat and onion over medium heat until meat is browned and onion is tender. Add the taco seasoning and pepare according to package directions. Cool slightly. Flatten half of the biscuits into 4 inch circles; place on greased 15-inx10-inx1-in. baking pan. Spoon 1/4 cup meat mixture onto each; top with 1/4 cup cheese. Flatten the remaining biscuits; place on top and pich edges to seal tightly. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
