Swiss Apple Pie image

This is a pie that makes its own crust. This was my first (and so far, only) pie, so I wanted to start with something simple. *I used Granny Smith apples. **I didn't have any walnuts, so I substituted cashews instead.

Overall, I thought this pie was pretty good. The crust was flaky and the filling was sweet and tart. However, I found the Swiss cheese to be a bit too overpowering.

Not my favorite. The Swiss cheese was overpowering and the crust was too thick.

Not a fan. The crust was too dry and the apples were too soft.

This Swiss Apple Pie was a delight! The buttery crust and sweet, tender apples were the perfect combination. I added a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg for extra flavor, and it turned out amazing. My family loved it!
