Sweet Soy Mushrooms on Toast image

This makes a tasty and different breakfast, brunch or snack. Sweet soy sauce, also called ketjap manis should be available in most large stores or Asian stores. If you can't find it, just use dark soy sauce mixed with a little clear, runny honey instead.

I was really excited to try this recipe, but I was disappointed. The mushrooms were tough and the sauce was too sweet.

This recipe was okay. The mushrooms were a bit bland and the toast was too soggy.

I love spicy food, so I added a bit of chili flakes to the sweet soy sauce. It gave the dish a nice kick without overpowering the other flavors.

I'm always looking for healthy meals that are also delicious, and this recipe fits the bill. The mushrooms are a great source of protein and fiber, and the sweet soy sauce is a healthier alternative to traditional soy sauce.

These Sweet Soy Mushrooms on Toast were a hit! The mushrooms were savory and flavorful, and the toast was the perfect vehicle for them. I added a fried egg on top for some extra protein and flavor.
