SWEET HUSHPUPPIES image

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 egg
1/3 c sugar
1/2 c self rising yellow cornmeal
1/2 c self rising flour
country crock cinnamon or honey butter

Steps:

  • 1. Heat deep fryer to 350 degrees. Beat egg and sugar with a mixer-just enough to make sure it's mixed well.
  • 2. Add self rising cornmeal and flour. Mix well and form into small balls (about the size of a quarter).
  • 3. Deep fry until golden brown. Serve with cinnamon or honey butter.
