- * Combine in a small saucepan, bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Cool. Place cabbage in a large bowl and sprinkle with salt toss. Let stand for 1 hour. Squeeze liquid out of cabbage. Add green pepper, celery, onion and carrot toss. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture, mix well and put into freezer containers. Seal and freeze.
