Sweet and Sour Dipping Sauce image

Number Of Ingredients 5

1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon minced Thai Chiles (sambal oelek is fine)
3 cloves minced garlic
1/4 teaspoons salt

Steps:

  • Boil the vinegar then add sugar and stir to dissolvereduce heat to medium-low and allow the sauce to thicken 5 min
  • remove from heat and let cool
  • add chile, garlic and salt then stir to combine
  • store in airtight container. Serve at room temp. Can be refrigerate for 2 weeks.
