SWEDISH BROWN BEANS BRUNA BONOR image

1 lb. (2 1/4 c.) Swedish brown beans
5 c. cold water
3" stick cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. dark corn syrup

Steps:

  • SWEDISH BROWN BEANS Soak beans overnight in cold water. Add cinnamon and salt; simmer 1-3 hours or until beans begin to get tender. Add sugar and vinegar; cook until beans are tender. Add the syrup. Serve with Swedish potato sausage.
