Surprise Easter Cupcakes image

The surprise is a chocolate egg baked inside the cupcake! Yum! These cupcakes are so pretty, especially when you ice them with pastel colors for Easter or Spring. I got this from an old Woman's World magazine.

I was a bit disappointed with these cupcakes. The carrot cake base was dry and crumbly, and the vanilla frosting was too sweet. The chocolate eggs inside were a nice touch, but they didn't make up for the rest of the cupcake.
