Super Slow Sloppy Joes image

This sloppy Joe recipe has a little kick to it. We loved it the way it is posted but you might want to cut back on the spices if you don't like food with a kick to it. I purchased a Women's Day Magazine entitled Slow Cooking and I have been posted several recipes from this magazine. I have to say not one of the recipes didn't get a FANTASTIC! rating.

These sloppy joes were a great way to use up some leftover roast beef. I just shredded the beef and added it to the sauce. They turned out really well and my family loved them.

I'm a vegetarian, so I made these sloppy joes with tempeh instead of beef. They turned out really well! The tempeh was flavorful and the sauce was delicious. I will definitely be making these again.

These sloppy joes were a little too sweet for my taste, but my husband and kids loved them. I will definitely be making them again, but I will use less brown sugar next time.
