These salmon cakes are just awesome! The absolute best when served with a nice cheese sauce! Give them a try and enjoy :) The prep time doesn't include the 45 minutes in the refrigerator. My recipe for "A Nice Cheese Sauce" is posted too.

Steps:
- 1. Combine the first five ingredients. Stir in the egg, flaked salmon, and 4 tablespoons of bread crumbs. Refrigerate for 45 minutes.
- 2. Divide mixture into 8 balls. Roll balls in the remaining bread crumbs. Flatten balls into 1/2 inch thick patties.
- 3. Fry in melted butter for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until nicely browned.
- 4. These are awesome served with a cheese sauce. That's how we enjoy them!
