This is a very easy, very quick, and very tasty treat using Hungry Jack pancake and waffle mix as your base. It's also a great recipe for beginner cooks such as children as it's very easy to put together and pretty much foolproof.

Steps:
- 1. HEAT oven to 350°F.
- 2. In a large bowl beat with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy; brown sugar, shortening, butter, milk and vanilla; then beat in egg.
- 3. BLEND in pancake mix and chocolate chips by hand until well combined.
- 4. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
- 5. BAKE 10 to 13 minutes or until set in center and edges are lightly browned.
- 6. Place baking sheet on a rack and cool 2 minutes, the remove cookies to wire rack to cool completely.
- 7.
