Sugar-Free Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Mix in a Jar image

This is a diabetics dream cookie, made from a gift in a jar

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 1/2 c rolled oats
1 c artificial sweetener (splenda)
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 c raisins or craisins
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg

Steps:

  • 1. Layer the ingredients in a jar, packing down well between each layer.
  • 2. Attach the following instructions to a gift tag: Sugar-Free Oatmeal Raisin Cookies: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheet. Mix 2/3 cup melted butter, 4 egg whites, 1/2 cup skim milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Add to jar contents and mix well. Drop by teaspoons onto cookie sheet 1-2 inches apart. Cook 10-12 minutes or until done.
