Succotash With Mushrooms and Romano image

4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 (16 ounce) package frozen lima beans
1 (16 ounce) package frozen white corn
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/8 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon butter
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons grated romano cheese

Steps:

  • Heat a large skillet and saute bacon pieces until browned.
  • Add lima beans and cook, stirring, 5 minutes.
  • Add corn and cook, stirring, 5 minutes.
  • Add garlic powder, mushrooms, celery salt, and butter.
  • Cook, stirring, until butter is melted and mushrooms are browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Add mik, paprika and romano cheese.
  • Cook, stirring, until mixture is thickened and heated through.
