Strawberry Jell-O Cake image

There are so many strawberries in this recipe- there are strawberries, strawberry jello, and strawberry syrup. It's berry good.

CAKE:
3 large eggs
1/4 c water
1 c vegetable oil
18 oz box white cake mix
3 Tbsp all purpose flour
3 oz strawberry jell-o
10 oz thawed strawberries-reserve 3 t. strawberries for frosting
FROSTING:
2 c powdered sugar
4 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted
3 Tbsp reserved strawberries

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350^.Grease or spray a 13x9-inch baking pan. In a small bowl , beat together eggs, oil and water. In large mixer bowl, add flour to cake mix. Stir egg mixture, Jell_O and strawberries into cake mix. Beat 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool in pan and frost. --- For frosting beat ingredients together.
