Strawberries and Romaine with Poppy Seed Dressing image

I often include this recipe in our strawberry farm newsletter. I get so many compliments on this pretty mix of strawberries, lettuce and onion. The mayonnaise-based poppy seed dressing is actually nice and light.-Laurie Andrews, Milton, Ontario

I found the dressing to be a bit too thick. I think I'll thin it out with a little bit of water next time.

This salad was a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try it again with less strawberries next time.
