- 1. MIX TOGETHER TOMATOES, BUTTER, SUGAR AND SALT. STIR GOOD.
- 2. IF THE BREAD IS FRESH, SEPARATE EACH SLICE & LEAVE ON KITCHEN COUNTER FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR. CUBE EACH SLICE OF BREAD INTO ABOUT 16 CUBES & PUT INTO MIXTURE & STIR UP GOOD. PUT MIXTURE IN MICROWAVE BOWL WITH PLENTY OF ROOM AT THE TOP.
- 3. PUT IN MICROWAVE & COOK UNCOVERED ABOUT SIX MINUTES. STIR AND COOK FOR ANOTHER SIX MINUTES. THE MIXTURE WILL THICKEN INTO A STEW. MY RECIPE STATES THAT THIS SHOULD BE MADE THE DAY BEFORE, BUT I NEVER CAN WAIT FOR IT.
