Star Fruit Chutney image

I planted a star fruit tree last spring. It is doing so well I have so many,so I made this recipe.It's great on grilled chicken,salmon,pork. 1/27/14

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 c star fruit diced
1/4 c sugar
1/2 c dry red wine
1 Tbsp ginger minced
2 Tbsp white wine vinegar

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all ingredients in a medium pan and rouse well. Bring to medium high heat and cook 25 minutes or until slightly thickened. Makes 1 cup.
