Spun Honey Spread (Honey Butter) image

This spread is great on toast or bagels for breakfast or a snack. I got this recipe from my mother-in-law.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 cup sugar
1 cup honey
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream (don't beat)
1 lb butter (425 grams)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Mix sugar, honey and cream together and heat until boiling.
  • Stir continually and boil for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and add butter.
  • Beat well with mixer.
  • Add vanilla and beat until smooth.
  • Store in refrigerator.
