4 slices whole wheat bread
1 cup spinach, washed and finely chopped
1/4 cup panir (cottage cheese)
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/2 tomatoes, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
1/2 teaspoon chili paste
1 teaspoon oil
lemon juice
salt

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add the finely chopped onion and ginger-chilli paste. Saute till light brown.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and salt. Mix well.
  • Add the finely chopped spinach and crumbled paneer.
  • Cook on high flame, till the water dries out.
  • Add lemon juice.
  • Spread the mixture on the whole-wheat bread slices and grill or toast them.
  • Serve warm.
