Time 15m

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 pkg baby spinach
1 pkg strawberries, fresh
2 can(s) canned mandarin oranges
1 red onion
1 bottle light raspberry vinagarette dressing

Steps:

  • 1. Wash and drain spinach and take off large stems. Put in large bowl.
  • 2. Wash and drain strawberries and cut into quarters. Put into bowl.
  • 3. Slice red onion thinly and put into bowl. I use whole onion but if you want, you can use half.
  • 4. Drain mandarin oranges and put into bowl.
  • 5. Just before serving, pour bottle of dressing and mix ingredients. I use whole bottle, but you can use it to taste. Its best to finish off the salad because the spinach gets soggy if leftover.

This salad was a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I would have preferred it with less fruit.

This salad was easy to make and very refreshing. I used a store-bought dressing, but I think it would be even better with a homemade one. I'll definitely be making this again this summer.

I'm not usually a fan of fruit in salads, but this one was surprisingly good. The strawberries and oranges added a nice sweetness and brightness to the salad, and the red onion gave it a bit of bite. I'll definitely be making this again!
