Spinach Cheese Swirls image

My family loves dividing up this super-easy sandwich that's brimming with great spinach and onion flavor. Refrigerated pizza dough shaves minutes off prep time and creates a golden brown crust. The cheesy slices taste terrific warm or cold, so they're great for lunches, picnics or trips. -Mary Nichols Denver, New Hampshire

These were just okay. The pastry was a bit dry and the filling was bland.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my pastry turned out tough and chewy. The filling was good though.

These were delicious! I'm not usually a fan of spinach, but the cheese and pastry balanced it out perfectly.

I love how versatile this recipe is. I added some diced ham and red peppers to my swirls for a little extra flavor.
