Spicy Oriental Orzo image

I needed a side dish to go with some wild-caught salmon I'd marinated in a teriyaki sauce, and found some whole-wheat orzo pasta in the pantry. I threw this together, and WOW! Add some braised spinach or kale, a fresh fruit, and what a nutritious dinner you'll serve!

I'm not a huge fan of orzo, but this recipe changed my mind. The spicy Oriental sauce was delicious and the orzo was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be making this again.

Overall, this was a good recipe. The sauce was flavorful and the orzo was cooked perfectly. However, I think it could have used a little more spice.

I thought the orzo was a little bland. I think next time I'll add some more vegetables to the dish.

This recipe was a little too spicy for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. I think next time I'll use less chili powder.

This dish was an explosion of flavor! The combination of spices and the orzo was perfect. I especially loved the addition of the bell peppers and almonds.
