Spicy Cranberry Glaze image

A sweet and spicy cranberry glaze perfect for poultry or pork. More or less crushed red pepper flakes can be added to adjust the heat. Use this to baste meat while grilling or roasting, or serve it as a side like traditional cranberry sauce.

1 (14 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
1 cup water
¼ cup red pepper jelly
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 ½ teaspoons onion powder

Steps:

  • Combine cranberry sauce, water, red pepper jelly, red pepper flakes, and onion powder in a saucepan; cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture has the consistency of thin syrup, about 10 minutes.
