This spicy sauce, which makes good use of leftover chicken or turkey, is also great on true pastas, as well as the spaghetti squash suggested here. For a vegetarian version, simply eliminate the meat, or if you want a substitute, use extra firm tofu.

The sauce was a little too thin for my liking. I would recommend thickening it with a cornstarch slurry next time.

I found that the chicken was a little dry. I think I would cook it for a shorter amount of time next time.

The dish was a little too salty for my taste. I would recommend using less salt next time.

I had some trouble finding spaghetti squash at my local grocery store. I ended up using zucchini noodles instead.
