Spiced Cranberries Jubilee image

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 cups cranberries cleaned
2/3 cup orange marmalade
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
1/3 cup brandy or orange liqueur
Vanilla ice cream

Steps:

  • Up to 2 hours before serving:In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stir cranberries, marmalade, sugar and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 8 minutes or until berries are broken and mixture is syrupy. If making ahead, cover and set aside.Just before serving:Reheat cranberry mixture if necessary. Transfer to a warm chafing dish. In a small saucepan, warm liqueur. Immediately pour over cranberries and ignite. Stir to blend until flame dies.Serve hot sauce over ice cream.
