- In any glass you can find, combine rum and apple cider. Use ice if it is available, if not whatever. Make the drink anyway. Makes 1 cocktail. Refill glass as needed to help you survive your holiday functions. Note this drink will work in any situation where there is sparking apple cider (not just family affairs). And if there isn't any sparkling apple cider around, well just drink your spiced rum straight from the flask. We won't tell.
