Sour Cream Raisin Cookies image

One of our families favorite cake like cookies. A German recipe handed down from mom's side of the family. A Mennonite cookie that grandma used to make and send in our Christmas box when I was young. My mom still makes them today at Christmas time.

These cookies were a bit too dry for my taste. I think I would add more sour cream next time. Otherwise, they were good.

I'm not a big fan of raisins, but I decided to try these cookies anyway. I was pleasantly surprised! The raisins were plump and juicy and they added a nice sweetness to the cookies. I will definitely be making these again.
