I have had this recipe in my magazine recipe clipping collections for some time now. I just made it for Christmas and got rave reviews. It is from an unknown newspaper. Enjoy!

Steps:
- 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or spray lightly with cooking spray. Mix sugar, sour cream, margarine/butter, shortening, vanilla and egg in large bowl.
- 2. Stir in flour baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart. Bake 12-14 minutes or until just beginning to brown. Cool slightly on baking sheet before removing to wire racks.
