Steps:
- 1. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time mixing well in between each. Add vanilla and dry ingredients a bit a time, mixing well in between.
- 2. Refrigerate for two hours and remove to warm up. Divide dough in half and roll out on floured board. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes. Cookies need to be just barely brown on the edges. Almost look not done. Cool, frost with butter cream frosting and serve!
