SNOWFLAKE COOKIES OR SPRITZ COOKIES image

1 c shortening
3/4 t butter flavoring
3 oz cream cheese
1 c sugar
add 1 egg yolk
1 t vanilla
2 c sifted flour
1/2 t salt
Paste cookies with a mixture of egg white and water
Sprinkle with colored sugars

Steps:

  • Cream together: 1 C shortening 3/4 tsp butter flavoring 3 oz cream cheese Add 1 C sugar Add 1 egg yolk 1 tsp vanilla 2 C sifted flour 1/2 t salt On an un-greased cookie sheet, squeeze cookies out though press Paste with a mixture off egg white and water Sprinkle with colored sugars Bake at 325 degrees 10 minutes
