SMOKED SALMON PENNE image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb penne pasta
1/3 large sweet onion, minced
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1/8 cup olive oil
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup heavy cream
One package smoked salmon
salt and black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Boil water. Add pasta and cook according to instructions. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a deep frying pan, add onion and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes then add white wine, let simmer. After 5 minutes (or when the wine has been reduced) add cream and salmon and simmer until cream is thickened. Drain pasta and add to the pan. Toss and add salt and pepper to taste.
