Smoked Gouda Cheese Grits image

Delicious side dish for breakfast or dinner. The Gouda gives a taste unlike other cheese grits I have had. Of course, cheddar or other cheese can be substituted. I got this from a lady in Louisiana.

  • Bring broth, milk and seasoning to boil.
  • Stir in grits.

I'm not a huge fan of grits, but these were really good. The smoked gouda cheese added a nice depth of flavor.

These grits were amazing! I used sharp cheddar cheese instead of smoked gouda, and they were still delicious. I will definitely be making these again.
