Slow-Cooker Jambalaya Risotto image

I love risotto, but I don't always love the time and stirring it takes to get the creamy goodness. I found a slow-cooker risotto recipe and thought it was too good to be true. I decided to adapt a jambalaya recipe for this dish. -Angela Westra, Cambridge, Massachusetts

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my risotto turned out really bland. I think I might have used the wrong type of rice.

This dish was a bit too spicy for my taste, but I think that's just a personal preference. Otherwise, it was very good.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my risotto came out a little too soupy. I think I'll reduce the amount of liquid next time.
